I study spatio-temporal dynamics of Complex Systems at the Group of Statistical and Interdisciplinary Physics, in Bariloche, Argentina. I apply computational and statistical methods to understand animal movement, as well as the spread of epidemics and forest fires. My motivation comes primarily from interdisciplinary collaboration—deploying tracking devices in the field alongside biologists and engineers, programming with computer scientists, and developing mathematical and statistical models. My goal is to uncover key mechanisms underlying observations, designing spacial explicit mathematical models or differential equations systems and combining techniques such as machine learning, partially informed neural networks and Bayesian statistical inference. Whenever possible, I use those models to forecast propagation or behavior in real-world landscapes. I hold a Ph. D. in Physics, am an independent researcher at CONICET , and also teach at Balseiro Institute .
